SUMMARY
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager (EHS) is responsible for leading the development and execution of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at Grillo’s Pickles Midwest facility. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, establishes and maintains a safe work environment by developing and enforcing policies, overseeing regulatory compliance, providing employee training, supports a strong food safety culture, and drives continuous improvement to protect our people, facility, and community. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build strong cross-functional partnerships ensuring that EHS operations are efficient, effective and structured while ensuring compliance and employee engagement.

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally more than 50 pounds with assistance from co-workers and/or mechanical devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, wet and refrigerated areas, and food ingredients. Position requires use of PPE, and frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
