In this role, you will work with the EVP, Chief Information and Data Officer (CIDO) to design and lead the Enterprise Technology strategy, support strategic initiatives, enhance organizational effectiveness, and serve as their “right-hand.” This is a highly strategic role, serving three core functions: (1) a strategic thought partner to define and evolve our technology strategy, (2) an orchestrator to connect the dots, support senior decision-making, and drive organizational rhythm, and (3) a leader to accelerate strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with senior leaders across Enterprise Technology and The Walt Disney Company. Responsibilities Partner with the CIDO to create the Enterprise Technology strategy. Identify and develop business cases for technical and business solutions. Vet new technical solutions and proposals, connecting technical resources to projects. Lead technical projects and initiatives, supporting critical decision-making. Develop high-level presentations for senior executives, including technical content and data storytelling. Lead research and stakeholder coordination for strategic initiatives. Analyze technology performance metrics and interpret data to tell a compelling story. Oversee Technology Skills Training, collaborating with HR to develop a technical skills inventory. Implement disciplined management operating systems, such as agile ceremonies. Partner with the VP, Technology Transformation to track and report on KPIs. Manage diverse requests and priorities effectively. Enhance the internal and external brand of technology and data. T&D Strategy & Organization Partner with leadership and HR to drive organizational transformation, including communication strategies. Define and manage the leadership team’s operating cadence, including offsites and decision follow-up. Establish and manage the Office of the CIDO’s operational rhythm and responsibilities. Communications & Cast Engagement Plan and execute engagement events like Town Halls, heritage months, and employee initiatives. Lead external engagement efforts, such as partnerships and conferences, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition for university speaking engagements. Qualifications Ability to craft and implement mission, vision, and strategic roadmaps. Strong leadership in modern technology and data, with clear communication skills. Experience in strategy development and execution. Proven program management skills for initiative success. Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external senior stakeholders. Ability to foster innovation and adaptability within teams. Positive relationships across Disney are advantageous. The salary range in Burbank, CA is $202,900 - $272,100, and in New York City, NY is $212,600 - $285,100. Compensation includes base pay, potential bonuses or incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
