Dietary Aides

Medina, OH

The Echelon of Medina Assisted Living is currently seeking part- and full-time Dietary Aides to join their team in Medina, Ohio! In this role, you will prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures.

The right candidates will have:

• Cooking experience preferred
• Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, and climbing

Our Dietary Aides will:

• Makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Deals tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Follows oral and written instructions.
• Maintains the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must posses the patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
