As a Casualty Coverage and Mass Tort Complex Director, you will work with top claims and underwriting professionals, addressing complex coverage issues and developing innovative insurance products to meet evolving risks. This is a chance to grow your career at the forefront of Casualty insurance. Key Responsibilities Evaluate coverage on sophisticated insurance products. Hire and manage counsel for coverage evaluation and defense. Assess damages with outside experts. Evaluate financial impacts for AIG and insureds. Develop strategies for favorable claim resolutions and negotiate with insureds and third parties. Advise business partners on exposures and product changes. Guide claims and business leaders on emerging risks. Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect, or Environmental fields preferred. Ability to handle complex claims involving GL and Environmental policies. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and investigation skills. Additional Information For Jersey City, NJ, the salary range is $105,000-$122,000, with eligibility for a bonus and comprehensive benefits.
