Our client, an award-winning custom manufacturer serving the U.S. military and global defense sector, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team in Bristol, PA.
This newly created, hands-on role will play a central part in managing the full contract lifecycle across commercial, government, and international agreements. Reporting to executive leadership, the Contract Specialist will help drive contract performance, ensure compliance, and support critical defense programs with high visibility and long-term stability.
With upcoming retirements in the department, this newly created role is part of a long-term succession plan designed to transfer knowledge and build future leadership. From supporting proposal preparation and redlining terms to coordinating contract execution and liaising with customers, internal teams, and government representatives, you'll play a critical role in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment—perfect for someone eager to grow, take ownership, and make things happen.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, coachable, and knowledgeable in both commercial and defense-related environments. You’re confident pushing for information, navigating internal roadblocks, and moving contracts forward from proposal through payment. You’ll be expected to read contracts closely, communicate clearly, and take ownership of follow-ups, amendments, export controls, property management, and document submissions with minimal delegation.

Salary Range: $100K+ depending on experience
