Concrete Finisher

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Concrete Finishers for commercial projects in the Fargo area. The pay range is $26–$30 per hour based on experience. All concrete finishers are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

• Set forms to hold concrete

• Clean and inspect concrete surfaces after pouring

• Pour, smooth, and level concrete using proper tools

• Apply concrete sealing

• Mold and construct expansion joints using proper tools

• Polish concrete surfaces when required

Additional Job-Specific Details:

• Experience with commercial flatwork, curbs, and sidewalks

• Ability to read blueprints and follow site layout plans

• Operate equipment such as power trowels, screeds, and finishing tools

• Must have experience with bull-floating, riding & walk behind power troweling, brooming, shooting grade
• Must have experience screeding off of sand
• Must have experience sealing or curing of slabs
• Must have experience setting of sump or floor drain
• Must have experience cutting control joints or applying zip strip
• Willingness to work on footings and foundation
• Responsible for the quality of concrete slab project
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and tools used for finishing slabs
• Responsible for making sure site is clean and looks professional when finished
• May be expected to perform any duty involved in a concrete project

Ultimate Concrete Finisher Requirements

• 3+ years of concrete finishing or related construction experience

• Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

• Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

• Ability to perform regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs

• Drug Test Required

• Background Check Required

• Valid driver’s license preferred
