Job Description

Our client, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering plastic shapes, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $25 – $29 per hour

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines.
• Plan and perform machine operations using mills, lathes, routers, and/or saws to machine plastic or metal workpieces to specifications.
• Interpret complex drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets.
• Monitor machine operations and detect malfunctions.
• Conduct inspections and gauging operations to ensure quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform diversified operations on CNC machines to close and interrelated tolerances.
• Experience in reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine sequence and dimensions of finished workpieces.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
