General Responsibilities:

• Provides imaging informatics expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of computer systems used for diagnostic image archive, image post-processing, image viewing, HL7 data transmission, and diagnostic interpretation.
• Works with IS staff, vendors and customers to perform maintenance on assigned software. This includes installing software as needed, performing upgrades to ensure systems stay updated in accordance with vendor and security guidelines, and configuring applications to support workflows as required.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program in a specific healthcare profession (medicine, nursing, etc.) preferred.
• 2 years required experience in clinical practice.
