Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Solid understanding of general office procedures and best practices.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
• Excellent grammar, written communication, and proofreading skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and the public.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Consistently professional, respectful, and compassionate when interacting with patients, visitors, staff, and providers.
• Dependable and adaptable, with a willingness to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
• Presentable and approachable appearance.
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
• CPR certification required.
• 13 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
