Job Description
Case Coordinator (Temp to Hire)
Part-Time (24 hours/week, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) – Non-Exempt
In-office position with possible travel to partner sites required.
Conduct client interviews and assess individual needs
Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources; help remove access barriers
Complete financial assistance applications and ensure timely submission
Research and identify additional resources as needed
Maintain accurate documentation for each assigned case, client, and call
Regularly consult with the supervisor to maintain a manageable caseload and ensure alignment with program scope
Attend staff meetings and contribute to a positive team culture
Participate in community events to support outreach, networking, and marketing efforts, when applicable
High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree required
Bilingual ability is a plus (especially in English and Arabic, French, Fulani, or similar languages)
Previous experience in a nonprofit or social services setting preferred
Experience working with Muslim immigrant communities is a strong asset
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Effective problem-solving and goal-setting abilities
Highly organized with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Active listening and professionalism in diverse environments
Team-oriented, adaptable, and culturally sensitive
