NW Employment is partnered with a tire company in Molalla and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and picking up tired safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various driving routes effectively.

Pay starts at $18 until probationary period is over then bums up to $22

Dayshift - Mon-Fri

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details, customer interactions, and any issues encountered during transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization of goods.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo.

Experience

• Proven experience in driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience using pallet jacks and performing load/unload tasks in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
• Previous roles in courier services or similar logistics positions will be beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly as part of daily duties.
