Box Truck Driver

Sun Valley, CA

Full time Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday 6am to 2:30pm

$20hr to $25hr depending on experience.

Busy manufacturer and supplier of premium natural dog treats is looking for a Box Truck Driver to join their team at their Sun Valley plant.

Summary : Seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle a box truck. Will load at our Sylmar warehouse and distribute to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate box truck, for the delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist in heavy lifting as required during the loading and unloading process.

Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy lifting and handling various types of cargo safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is advantageous.
• Ability to operate box truck.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while on the road.
