About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Corporate Tax and Investment Structuring. This senior role is pivotal in providing tax structuring and advisory services for the firm's global investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and structuring investments to optimize tax efficiency, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with U.S. and international tax laws. Key tasks include tax risk management, corporate tax planning, legal analysis, and supporting compliance and financial reporting. The role also demands a deep understanding of complex investment structures and the ability to identify and mitigate tax risks. Applicants must have a JD and a minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate tax, with a strong preference for those with exposure to structured private equity investment transactions. Experience in the reinsurance or financial services industry is also valued. The role requires a candidate with strong communication and organizational skills, who can effectively partner with various teams to achieve the company's tax and investment structuring goals. Responsibilities extend to cross-border and international taxation, including the analysis of tax treaties, and global initiatives such as OECD BEPS. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing the legal aspects of tax matters and ensuring adherence to reporting and compliance standards across different jurisdictions.
