Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in pretraining the next generation of Runways multimodal models.


• Build impactful and novel machine learning projects with strong software engineering skills and clean, maintainable research code.


• Design and implement human-in-the-loop systems for creativity, guiding ideas from concept to practical application.


• Mentor and teach other researchers; contribute to collaborative research efforts and clear documentation.


• Contribute to user interfaces for creative tasks and integrate research outcomes into product experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant ML engineering or research experience.


• Very strong programming skills; ability to write clean, maintainable research code.


• Deep interest in building human-in-the-loop systems for creativity.


• Passion for taking research from initial conception to eventual application.


• Experience mentoring and teaching other researchers.


• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
